Same team. Same product. Same login. A name that finally says what the work is for.
Why the name moved
HostHives named the crowd. A hive is a lot of hosts in one place — accurate enough, but it described us, not the thing you actually do every day.
MIK is Albanian for the guest you take in as a friend. It is the oldest idea in hospitality on this coast: someone at your door is not a transaction, and how you treat them is a matter of honour rather than of policy. For anyone who does not speak the language, the name decodes into three English words that are also the job — Manage. Impress. Keep.
None of the software changed the day the sign did. The calendars, the direct bookings, the cleaning rotas and the guest messages are the same ones you were using last week. The name simply caught up with what they were always for.
What did not change
Your account
The same email and password. Sign in at mikstay.com and everything is where you left it.
Your data
Properties, bookings, guests, invoices, calendars. Nothing was migrated, because nothing moved — only the name on the door.
